Job Description
Being a part of Red Raider Outfitter means being a part of a team where you deliver superior Texas Tech products with game day spirit each and every day. As a team member you will help bring the Texas Tech spirit to life through unsurpassed customer service, products and remarkable experiences.
As we continue to grow at Red Raider Outfitter, we are currently seeking 3 additional Graphic Designers (Junior, Senior, and Director) to aid in year-round product development for apparel graphics and hard goods categories. These positions also assist in print and online marketing campaigns, retail store design, and media advertising. In addition to a team player, the ideal candidate will be adept at working on many creative and technical projects, and can handle a multitude of creative responsibility. This person will be designing across print and digital platforms from the company’s printed publications and clothing design, to emerging social media platforms and applications.
Basic Qualifications

3+ years experience in Graphic Design & conceptual development OR extremely strong art portfolio

Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop required

Must work well under tight time constraints to assure timely delivery of projects

Ability to work well with others

Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills

Critical attention to detail (strong follow-up and follow-through)

Portfolio required at time of interview. References required.

Proven ability to apply and perform the following graphic design skills:

Conceptualization
-
Spacing and scale

Visual presentation development

Concepts supported by a portfolio of non-computer-based creative art and graphic design
Preferred Qualifications

Expertise in the latest graphic computer technology and programs

Experience with T-shirt printing & brand development

Must maintain awareness of current fashion trends and collegiate look and feel

Physical Requirements

Requires physical ability for standing, sitting, crouching, kneeling, frequent walking, reaching above head and below waist.

Ability to lift up to 20-50 pounds ie. fixtures, product boxes

This position is located in Lubbock, Texas at our creative offices.

Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays, weekends, nights, opening/closing shifts.

Able to travel to other stores within Lubbock.
